Ayutthaya P-50 Class built at Jusmin Shipyard and Somchai Shipyard, she was the first vessel of ayutthaya coast guard and install old weapons from the navy.

In 2013 P-50 Class refit by install 1xBofors 40 Mk4 remote gun, 1xSatcom, 1xFuruno FAR2117BB X-Band navigation radar 12 kW, 1x1.5tons Crane and 1to2xRHIBs. Have plan to decommission between 2025-2030, new weapons and sensors will transfer to the other vessels.

Ayutthaya P-50H Class : Patrol Combatant with Helicopter Deck

Base on P-50 Class and build 13.5x7.4 helicopter deck for llight rotorcraft. Total length = 50.9 m max displacement =350 t, fit for westland scout helicopter but can't full time parking because the stabilizer problem.

In 1986 ayutthaya army transfer 6 westland scouts to the coast guard, all helicopters decommission in 2006.




In 2014 P-50 Class refit by install retractable hangar, schiebel camcopter rotorcraft UAV, 1xSatcom, 1xFuruno FAR2117BB X-Band navigation radar 12 kW, 1x1.5tons Crane and 1xRHIB. Have plan to decommission between 2025-2030, new weapons and sensors will transfer to the other vessels.

Wouldn't the P-50H be the smallest "combat" (of sorts) vessel to have a helicopter deck? (some 1970s-1980s corvettes by Italian CNR and German Luerssen had decks, but they were around 60m long).

After P-50H class in service, the coast guard need large patrol boat with the real helicopter deck. they buy 2 corvettes from ST Marine Singapore and install old weapons and sensor by Ayutthaya Navy. CG-5 Lina entered service in 1992 and fitted as a flagship of Ayutthaya Coast Guard.

In 2006 Lina Class refit because AN/SPS-10 and Decca 1226 out of order, by install 1xAN/SPS-67(V)3 serface search and navigation radar, 1xAN/SPS-73(V)12 navigation radar, 1xSatcom, 2xOerlikon 20 mm GAM-BO1 machine gun and 2x1.5 tons cranes.
