Is this thing from the Proceedings?[I/]
Anyway, from what I can see, the bow is vertical.

It's a magazine published by the US Naval Institute about the USN.
Among the many articles are a truly astounding amount of wacky designs.
Take a look in the US never build section. If it looks insane it's probably from the proceedings.

Oh man that's some good crack right there. Most entertaining, and it might actually kind of work a bit. Obviously not a whole lot that you can actually draw :P

the concept was tested, (shown in the link I posted, that was one of the largest bits of information I found on it......) it is quite similar in concept to the russian Ekranoplan designs, but more simplistic.
I will most likely finish it tonight.
still thinking...... would this thing have had railings?

done!
the only thing (maybe) to add would be railings, but as the concept art doesn't show any, I left them out. I feel like it would need some though..... what do you guys think?

Check the Professional Notes section, most entertaining. This is where I get my "Never-Where's" from.
I have sporatic issues from Sep 1964 to Nov 2008 with most from the mid 70's.
