Shipbucket

As i decided to draw those ship for my alternate universe iranian navy, i start by posting them here.
(Color sheme is speculative of course).

The Babr class sloops (Babr and Palang) were sometimes rated as gunboats. Biggest ship of the Iranian navy,they were ordered from Italy where officers underwent training to be the core of the new navy. They were improved version of the italian Ostia minelayers.
They were both sunk during the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran.



SHAHROKH patrol ships will follow.

As promised here is the patrol ship Shahrokh.
Like the Babr they were built in Italy. The four ships of the class were captured by Royal navy and use in india before being returned to owner in 1946.
