One small nitpick. There should be a stay supporting the Dinghy Boom. (The brown thing on the freebord)
Also, it would likely have been painted, though that's just speculation.

Nice ones Alvama, can we be seeing some K-classes submarines soon, and perhaps the modern O class?
On the Java I am not sure about the camouflage pattern however, I think the dark and light should be reversed and altered a bit:

I'll drawm more submarines

I've a colored drawing of the Java and used to draw her. And the are according the sailors the kind of green. And know the camo was changed 2 or 3 times like you can of the sizes of the spots etc..

Great pics, Alvama, but for the last one you ought to write in proper English: "at the Battle of the Java Sea, February 27, 1942", or simply "in 1942".

Okay, pittifull this has yet been the only actial photo I have been able to find in camouflage.

Yea there are not many. Though I've somewere a another one. I'll check it out. I've 2000 photos and cards dealing the Royal Netherlands Navy :D

Found one other thing, the brown stripe on the side, what is it supposed to be? The "walking planc" was higher and further aft and the line at that place I see on photos, always seem to be in the same colour as the flank.
