Thanks for the comment Krakatoa you made a very good point about the distance between the guns so following your advice a have placed the guns further apart and this is how it looks.

All three are nice, but that stern of Barcelona Class seem perfect for fitting a linear Artemis launcher behind the superstructure ! Perhaps this detail will be used to a RHN cruiser, it gives me an idea of what to design.

Bolívar class battleship



The Navy began designing a 55,000-ton battleship to counter the threat posed by the Yamato-class battleships of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Although the Navy knew little about the Yamato-class, the new Japanese battleships were rumored to have a main gun battery of 18 inches (457 mm). Initially, plans were drawn for a 45,000-ton battleship, but after evaluation, the displacement was increased of the planned ship to 55,500 tons. Initially i was decided that the Navy would order four ships because that was the number of Yamato class ships that were expected to be commissioned by the Japanese Navy, but due to the emergence of carriers as the new dominant warship and the Japanese decision to finish just two of the four projected Yamato's as battleships it was decided to cancel the last two ship and replace them with two more Sucre Class battleships since it was considered that the smaller battleship was doing the job well enough and the cost of producing and operating them was considerably lower and the ships would be ready alot earlier then the newer class.

Those five inch turrets look mighty big. They look more like six inch fifty five or sixty cals, to be honest.
Otherwise, looking good. I particularly like the turrets' shape. I personally think eight inch deck armour is a bit thick, but then again, since this is a Montana equivalent, I guess it fits.
Also, from a Shipbucket drawing perspective: corners with angles greater than 90 degrees are shown with a dark grey line, rather than a black line.

Falcón Class Light Cruiser



The Falcón class was intended for use as a scout for the commerce raiding squadrons envisioned by the Venezuelan Navy. The ships design process started in 1928; the ships were intended for long-range commerce raiding complementing the Barcelona class Heavy cruisers. they were also built because of the need for vessels that could protect carriers, battleships and convoys from air attacks and also to hunt down and eliminate enemy destroyers that could pose a threat to venezuelan submarines.

A very pretty ship, I must say!
But... six inch guns should be three pixels thick. And the barrels are very long right now, if they're six-inchers.
The general scale is:
__-45 mm = 1 pixel
45-105 mm = 2 pixels
105-191 mm = 3 pixels
191- 254 mm= 4 pixels.
And so on. Above the calibers I've set it's fairly open for you to choose, but above 10" it should mostly be above five pixels thick(there may be exceptions).
