Well, if you weren't such an obstinate upstart we wouldn't have to would we?

There's generally a reason why something is or isn't done on OTL vessels. Any major deviation from that usually results into running into brick walls as there isn't the leeway in the design to deviate from how they ended up.

But its was a nice ship :(.

Even if it would not work leave it up so we can all learn from it ? (I actually like when people pick on my designs faults as it teachers me something ! and I make lots)

Lots of real ships didn't work and they had large professional design teams so don't feel bad just redo it (and MS paint is cheaper than steel :P ).

Hope you keep it up,
JSB

JSB there is a difference between what you call picking up on my design fault and what I feel has happened to most of my posts over the last 6 months or so. I have now withdrawn all my drawings for the forum. I will continue to watch and draw for fun but suspect I won't be putting any of them on here.

That's the sort of petulant attitude that makes people behave like they do. If you're going to be so childish over something that happened on an internet forum I find myself questioning why you're even on the internet.
People are and continue to be egotists on the internet, deal with it.
I still get my own drawings picked apart be people despite my best intentions to make sure things are as polished as they can be before posting them so it's not just you being picked on by the big scary bucketeers.

in addition, nobody here has said the drawing was bad, insulted you, or attacked you directly. all that was pointed out were 2 things:
- technical difficulties
- a incorrect drawing of a propeller.

I think there is no good reason for removing the drawings for that. also, the only reason we kept talking here was to improve your design. you could have said 'I like to ignore that problem' but you talked back with impossible solutions. these impossible solutions were criticized of course.

blackbuck and me often work together on the IRC chat, and believe it or not, but the comments I give there often required half the ship to be redrawn from scratch. others have done the same to me, and I would not have it any other way. it let's me create working ships, and that is what I love to do.

Perhaps the smartasses should start biting the dust?
