and you have used the old SMART-L and APAR.... look at the dutch parts sheet or the newest drawing of the LCF (already on the main site, so you shouldn't have missed it) for the newest stuff. also, your railings are nonstandard, some of the 'dark holes' in the bow are most likely also on the other side, so they should be white IMO..... and of course all the 'dark holes' need to be outlined in black.

And for those not intimate with Dutch naval programs, the LCF is the Zeven Provincien (sp?) class frigate.

You're right! I've copied from Absalon Class, forgetting that Huitfeldt would receive the newest models :( So, thanks for the reminder :D
About the holes in the hull I'm sorry to tell you you're wrong. Not about the holes on the other side, but that they should be white. As you can see at the picture here the bow deck is covered!

P.S. I've now corrected the radars and edit drawing at page 1

I stand corrected for the holes in the hull. still, my other points are still right ;) btw, you shouldn't make those holes black, but make them the colour of the wall behind it. right now they look like they are painted on it :D
and.... the absalon hasn't got the APAR and SMART-L? how could you copy those?

In a moment you really make me confused. I've used Absalon a lot to help me, so I was just to much in a hurry to answer you. But I've had the radar parts sheets from the old forum as a file, and I can see I copied them :?
About the holes, I can see it is also used by other drawers. I haven't have the pleasure to be on board at Huitfeldt, but I reckom there is a big open room behind the holes which appear dark from outside. It will certainly be wrong to do them white. Light grey too. When you look at Huitfeldt on photos in any angle it always have a black look :|

I realy liked the ship from when i read something about it. Still wondering were youre missile's are on the drawing and missing some details but indeed its not finished yet so take youre time.
Wondering if the forward 76mm could be replaced by 5inch gun (i do think so) and if they ever will be equipt with tommahaws. I do think also as the dutch Zeven Provincien class these ships could somehow be called destroyers instead of frigates with their (possible) heavy armament and 6,645 tons of weight.
Nice draw , can t wait to see it finished (ship and drawing)

I doubt they'll get a 5" gun, at least not until someone develops some kind of ERGM for it. That's the reason why the Absalon class got it.
As for Tomahawks, maybe. Right now priority is going to be Standards and maybe a second Millenium gun to replace the second 76mm.

By now the boundary between a destroyer and a frigate and even a cruiser is so fluid as to be meaningless. In the end it comes down to politics.

:D I've turned it left 90 degree. It was so dark and with out "personality" that I gave it a little twist (the 90 degree!)
