I wonder if there will ever come a time where these things are ever truly "done"???

It will come that day you desire to go nuts with a top view!

I suppose one day when they close the lid and start shoveling dirt on you, or the Sun runs out of hydrogen and engulfs the Earth...

Interesting catches re: camouflage design. I had used the official design sheet to make the pattern, but obviously there were some differences with what was actually painted by the yards. I will have to correct those areas when I update Guam. See the official design sheet here: http://www.shipcamouflage.com/DesignShe ... C_CB-1.jpg The black patch at the stern which you have circled as an error is specified in the design sheet, but I can't find any photos of the stern of the ship to confirm/deny its presence. Your nice high res photo also surprised me, in that the lower half of the portside anchor is painted to match the camouflage pattern - I had never seen this before.

Re: making the masts only 1 pixel thick, sorry but that's not possible given the style constraints. I think if you had spent some time drawing in this scale/style you would understand this and stop suggesting it to artists.

And please, feel free to attempt to spot any errors on the rest of the CB drawings. Good luck!

Also, funnily enough I have the plans from the New York Shipbuilding Corporation that show the exact details regarding the radar mast arrangement (take a look): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/161 ... B1-21A.tif

They show a "straight taper" from a 10" diameter base to a 6" diameter top - unfortunately, in the Shipbucket scale, this can't be drawn as a single pixel. ;) Like most small items, it has to be overstated in order to fit the style.

This is one of your biggest problem
You're too focused on official sources (US yards & so)
I discovered that unofficial sources are sometimes alot more accurate than official sources (always proven by pictures => REAL LIFE)
All of you often forget the REAL-LIFE (the main reason of the shipbucket decline)

This is your job
