There are a couple of details to be optimized to fit SB style:
1. the stairs should be made using a double black line
2. it would be worth to have the water level highlighted by a black (or a dark) line

moreover I have some doubts about the bow thruster: are you sure that is so high? I would expect to see it much lower.
Finally I would suggest to refine a little the bow shading in order to render its round shape. To better explain what I mean I worked on separate details of your drawing.

Thanks for your points, Lazer_one.

1. I agree with the staircases.
2. As there is no waterline on the actual ship, it was left off the drawing. If the SB rule is to have a black line to show the waterline, then it will be added. IIRC, there was a discussion recently (In Japanese WWII ships thread) which established that it wasn't always necessary.


My positioning of the bow thruster comes from this picture:

I agree that the bow can be better shaded. Underwater hulls are not my forte! :P
