Thanks for the comments. There's still a long way to go I'm hoping to do a 1944 version with camo.
Any comments about the deck? It would be nice if we could standardise parts like planking on the flight deck and the aircraft tie down strips which were used up to the Essex Class.

I'm hopefully not so harsh that you people are afraid of me. Charybdis, your badge is wonderful. Only thing to improve is the thickness of the red and white stripes. They ought to be the same so far it is possible

I believe that your 5"/25s are too big. NavWeaps gives the oal gun length as 142.25" roughly 12' in SB scale.

nope, the gun is 142.25in that is 3.613 meters

3.613 meters * 2 / 0.3048 = 23.7 meters.

or on the other hand, those guns was drawn from blueprints... if I'm correct.

Those aren't 5"/25s. They're 5"/38s in open mounts.
