Thanks for the comments. There's still a long way to go I'm hoping to do a 1944 version with camo.
Any comments about the deck? It would be nice if we could standardise parts like planking on the flight deck and the aircraft tie down strips which were used up to the Essex Class.

I believe that your 5"/25s are too big. NavWeaps gives the oal gun length as 142.25" roughly 12' in SB scale.

nope, the gun is 142.25in that is 3.613 meters

3.613 meters * 2 / 0.3048 = 23.7 meters.

or on the other hand, those guns was drawn from blueprints... if I'm correct.

Those aren't 5"/25s. They're 5"/38s in open mounts.
