This is a Wesworld creation. I've taken on the Netherlands as a player over there and I'm starting to draw Kaiser Kirk's interesting aircraft. Every WW unit of the Dutch armed forces equipped with the type is represented here. The 90-series squadrons are training/ conversion units.
First up is a 'proper' D.23 with much more beef. The standard model has 2x 1,300hp V-12 engines and the fast interceptor D.XXIIIE has two 1,500hp V-12s for a top speed of 457mph at 20,000ft, rate of climb 3,500ft/min. Armament of both is one 23mm cannon and four 13.2mm MGs.

wow! that's top notch drawings!

have you think about some versions wearing the Dutch East Indies roundel (this one) and some airplanes captured by the Indonesian rebels? (as they made with some Japanese fighters)

quite nice, I only doubt about the cooling of the aft engine on some variants (the original had quite an scope underneath for an much smaller engine)

Here's a lil design I created a while back, I scaled it down to FD scale...yes, I know it looks unorthodox, I was just messing around and BAM, this was my outcome.

Hi Ashebourton,

Very nice, but you can probably bring the tail structure in - the contra-rotating Kamovs have that structure very close to the swept arc of the rotor, so unless it's needed for balance it's probably just making the helo bigger...

Regards,
Adam
