I want to show my temporary drawing of the Royal Danish Navy's newest frigate HDMS Iver Huitfeldt. My drawing is temporary by the reason that she is not fully completed yet. Right now she is on sea trials, but a lot of radars and all of her weapons aren't installed. Therefore I can't be sure that I've drawed these items as accurate as it would be. The hull and the super structure are right, as she looks right now. I have even kept some light grey squares on the hull, that I'm sure will be painted the same grey as rest of the hull when she will be commisioned.
I have chosen the Naval Lynx even she is build to have a EH-101 Merlin. But right now it is the helicopter for naval use.
But I would like you to get an idea of how the Huitfeldt Class will be in SB-drawing :D

P.S. Don't bother over my help lines! They will off course being removed when she is correctly completed!

A bit of explanation of this class is appreciated - clearly looks like Absalon derivative (and despite the deletion of the 5-inch turret, you could actually make a case that the gun armament is overall stronger), and I can't find any info on Wikipedia.

The Iver Huitfeldt class will be a three-ship class of frigates entering service with the Royal Danish Navy in 2012 and 2013.
The class is built on the experience gained from the Absalon-class command and support ships, and by reusing the basic hull design of the Absalon class the Royal Danish Navy have been able to construct the Iver Huitfeldt class considerably cheaper than comparable ships.
The frigates are compatible with the Danish Navy's StanFlex modular mission payload system used in the Absalons, and are designed with slots for six modules. The three new Iver Huitfeldt frigates will be equipped for a fighting role, and the potential to use Tomahawk cruise missiles, a first for the Danish Navy.
They share their Anti-Air Warfare suite with the Royal Dutch Navy's De Zeven Provinciën class frigates and the German Navy's Sachsen class frigates. The sensors of this suite include the long range surveillance radar SMART-L and the multi-function radar APAR. The SMART-L and APAR are highly complimentary, in the sense that SMART-L is a L band radar providing very long range surveillance while APAR is an I band radar providing precise target tracking, a highly capable horizon search capability, and missile guidance using the Interrupted Continuous Wave Illumination (ICWI) technique, thus allowing guidance of 32 semi-active radar homing missiles in flight simultaneously, including 16 in the terminal guidance phase. The primary anti-air weapons are the point defence Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile and the area defence SM-2 IIIA. The Mk 41 Vertical Launch System is used to house and launch these missiles. Up to 36 Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile and 32 SM-2 IIIA may be carried.
Data:
Displacement: 6,645 tonnes (full load)
Length: 138.7 metres (455 ft)
Beam: 19.75 metres (64.8 ft)
Draft: 5.3 metres (17 ft)
Propulsion: Four MTU 8000 20V M70 diesel engines, 8 MW each.
Speed: 28 knots (52 km/h; 32 mph)
Range: 9,000 nautical miles (17,000 km) at 15 knots (28 km/h; 17 mph)
Complement: 165
Crew: 101

She's an Air Warfare derivative of Absalon, and is already drawn the bucket here.

The hull shading, and prop are non-standard and should be fixed. You also need to add the ESSMs and SM-2s above the flexdeck.

I'm sad, that you don't accept the hull shading, because I've used the guidelines for the so called new shading. About the props, I know it's a bit provocative, but Huitfeldt has a brand new type of propeller and the SB standards would look wrong at her. The bow prop is an attempt to show how good it can be sometime to develop a draw. In fact it looks very simular to the real!
I haven't forgotten the missiles, but I'll just wait till she is completed, so I'm sure she really will be armed with the planned missiles. In my experience things have to be changed :D
Btw where can I find the already drawn Huitfeldt?

No, I'm sorry to say, you haven't.
Take a look at Novice's [ur=viewtopic.php?f=12&t=697l]Surcouf[/url] or [Shameless Plug] my Aconit[/Shameless Plug] to see how the "new" standard is supposed to be applied.

I am sorry for not being clear. The shape of the prop is acceptable (any chance we could get a picture of them?), the color is not however. All Shipbucket props are the same uniform yellow, with the exception of those that are coated with anti-fouling paint (which I don't think any have been drawn yet).

The bow thruster looks very nice.

Either fix the shade of I move this to the non-shipbucket drawings. Its simple as that and like the troopers so cleraly told you, there is only one "new shading" guide, done By me and fellows and this certainly is not par to it.

Didn't we receive new, improved - and - correctly sized Thales Apar and SMART-radars??? Sorry Kim, but the ones you've outfitted your Iver Huitfeldt with just doesn't seem to fit. Look at the co-projects of MihoShik and Mitch and you'll find the new standard for that system for the SB. I've already retrofitted all my saved drawings equipped thusly with their new outfit.
