question: where do you base those parts on? because.......
the hull design of you DD looks like an pre-WW1 destroyer. the size says the same. however, most if not all of your weapon systems are of WW2 vintage.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/632 ... ie%203.png this is an work in progress of my own part sheet works for viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5275 these ships. as you can see, more then half of the entire ship is dedicated to boilers and turbines. the smaller you make a ship, the bigger the machinery becomes relatively. also, the abovementioned destroyers are based on WW2 tech, which was close to the best you could get out of given size steam machinery.

I applaud the fact that you are thinking about what is in the ship though. the first step is thinking, the second is knowing. if you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or PM them to me, if you want, and I will see what I can do. there is, however still much to learn ;)

Hi ace,

I'm no expert, but if KinG is after an "asw dd", performance levels similar to WWII DEs would be acceptable, no? That would make it a somewhat better fit...

I think they are very overloaded (but I'm not an expert, DEs are 90+m long yours is 50 ish? I assume WW2 as 40mm AAA)
Why not dump the torpedoes and the swap the guns for 1 40mm (on rear deck) and 2 20mm (bridge wings) and you will have a ok costal escort / ASW PT boat ?
Or have different layouts for a series of different mass produced boats ( ASW, AsufW, AAW, CG, MineW( ?), etc).

yes, those performance levels would be acceptable, but even that does not fit in this hull and even less in that machinery space :P

Ahh, rats. See, that's why I ask you these sort of questions! I'd have no idea about this sort of thing.

Dude. Don't get trolled. It really isn't worth it. Those who want to learn will do, those who want to draw nonsense will continue to do so.

For this stealth destroyer you don't need all those APAR's and the I mast's. And if you want one you shouldn't make the ship stealthy. Also you don't need the SPG-62 on a stealth ship. Keep the Spy-3 radars though
