Thank you Ace I will have a look at that. Looking closer at some pics they seem to have have sort of meshing over them which would indicate intakes. Can anyone shed any light on these scans. Whatever colour that is it ain't black.

I always thought it was dark grey, but I'm not sure... I think it was changed to black shortly after commission.

EDIT: Just realised there are no grates on the gallery on the starboard side, only on port :geek:

It's nice to see how this evolves. But surely we already see the Bombhead quality :D

Excellent progress!

May I humbly submit that it might be time to retire the old Corvus part drawing? The current one looks to be about ten feet tall, nearly double the size of the real thing.

It's simply not up to the standard of the rest of the drawing.

A work of art in progress, incredible work BH.
I also support erik_t's request to change the Corvus launcher, it served its purpose well, but the new standards of drawings, and parts, demand its replacement.

might it be that the corvus launcher was also placed on the tromp class as build? because if so, I have redrawn it to scale:

IIRC it represents an system of the same size and shape, at least. I have the layered file for it on my laptop, so I can remove the shielding behind it when needed?
