Looking forward to her...did you have plans for doing the Japanese liners Asama Maru, Chichibu Maru (later Kamakura Maru), or the never-completed Kashiwara Maru (converted to carrier Junyo)?

I have references from "Damned by Destiny", but they'd be pretty far down the list. I'm still working on the United States, but have been busy with other things so I haven't had a chance to work on her in a couple of weeks.

Awesome! If only they had built a fourth sister. I once saw an AU post on DeviantArt, where a sister was built before Olympic.

The "America" reminds me of Vladimir Yourkevitch's "Bretagne". Its almost as though he, after CGT rejected the design, brought it to United States Lines, and they asked him to make it less radical.
