Well, the WIP is nothing compared to this beauty beast 8-)
But it was a large part in the current drawing.
Credits is a question at my side? Needed or not?

I'd like to see a drawing of how Shinano would've looked as a BB...or maybe a drawing of the 20-inch gunned version.

There was never a 20.1'' version of the Normal Yamato class.
The 20.1'' version would have been introduced in the Super Yamato class wich contained 4 times those turrets.
The Super Yamato was also to be even larger then this already beasty sized class.

About the Shinano, she would have been finished different as the Yamato/Musashi, instead of the 12.7'' duals turrets, it would have carried 6/8 times 3.9'' type 88 turrets(http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNJAP_39-65_t98.htm), wich where superior to the 12.7'' duals. And she would have carried 6 times the tripple 6.1 inch turrets.(http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNJAP_61-60_3ns.htm)

Also she would have been lighter, thanks to removed armor. Wich was a plan to create space for improvements on her secondairy equipment(Addition of 2x 6.1'' tripples). And for the new designed Fire Controls(FCS).
This new FCS was also planned to be placed on the B65 class battlecruiser(Smaller yamato, but same looks), Super Yamato. And the newer aircraft carriers (If i am correct, taiho used it already for secondairy's)
The fifth vessel of the class would have been the same, but then without the 4 6.1'' tripples on the side wings.
But 3.9'' type 88 (20/26 times) instead of this.

The fourth unit would have been like Yamato and Mushashi, but also with 2 additional 6.1'' tripples. But remains the 12.7'' duals in the same position as the first two ships.

About the Super Yamato class.
It is an enlarged version of the Yamato class, this is to because the 20.1'' turrets(duals) where to be even more armored, and heavier. This time 1.3 times heavier then the 18.1'' tripples.
And because the ship also carried more armor(Belt, deck, bulk) it needed more width and length.
The ship also would have carried a improved Bulbous bow acting vorm (Larger then Yamato's, and this time it had a true effective meaning).
Also stated on document's, that if the first ship of the SY(Super Yamato class) had proven to be working with this new bulbous bow thing.
The Yamato class also would have gained it.

The Super Yamato would have carried as according to the 1941-1944 plans, 6 times 6.1'' tripples (like later Yamato class), more other type of secondairy's.
And 4 times the 20.1'' turrets, wich had a massive range compared to the 18.1'' tripples, but also designed for the new FCS, so improved target indication and ''hit rate'' (As planned-make it true?)
The turrets also contained a slow rate of fire.

I love Fan-art made stuff.
Atleast this drawing has something that is good.
The 3.9''(100mm)
But it misses a 20.1'' and a second funnel plus forward and rear 6.1'' tripples

This model come's far. But lacks the 4th turret plus the 2nd funnel (Wich was on the final plans)

I don't really care about crediting, appears as if he has changed most of it anyway.

I've seen videos on YouTube of the Wisconsin firing her 16-inch guns...imagine what a video of THOSE monsters firing would be like! INCREDIBLE!
