HMS Duke of Edinburgh, shortly after commissioning, in 1906, and flying the Union Jack, denoting a very high-ranking officer (or Admiralty official) onboard, and with her original short 'racy' funnels - a favorite design element of Sir Phillip Watts, and continuing with my personal favorite, the
HMS Black Prince as she appeared as a member of the 1st Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean between 1912-13, i. e. shortly after having had her funnels lengthened.
