6 months after Burma bought 3 Romeo class submarines (in 1989).A refugee boat was sunk in Ayutthaya Waters. The navy have been working for 30 months to upgrade all new weapons ans systems. now she have Active Search/Attack Sonar and ASW Weapons

-Replace AN/SPS 6C Air Search radar with 1xThales LW04 Air/Surface Search radar

nice looking ships, but on the 1992 update you have forward 2 weapons with deck penetration replacing 2 which haven't got deck penetration. not impossible, but something you should keep an eye on.
also, the bofors mortar you placed on board is an 1950's weapon (that said, the ASW weapon you had before that in 1970 was an WW2 weapon)

acelanceloet, I'm built superstructure for Oto 76/62 gun(but still deck penetration). Bofors 375mm Rocket Launcher is the urgent second hand weapon and install without deck penetration (so will have only 4 missiles) some country need 2 asw weapons in the ship, i have DE 226 JDS Ishikari Destroyer Escort to the idol.



in the real-life ship Bofors 375mm area is empty, in my AU i need something to replace the Hedgehog(yes not the best idea) In the 2012 version i will remove Bofors 375mm use only SVTT and change this ship to the other mission.

Old soldier never died

After nearly 40 years of service. the engines of Yarinda Class have many problems and the ships too old for ASW mission. the navy refurbishment the ship and install Ruston 16RK270 diesel engines 3350 kWb at 900 r/min (the outdated product with special price). move Bofors 40/70 gun,MK-141 Launcher and Bofors Quad rocket launcher to the navy arsenal. Replace AN/SPS 53E Surface Search radar with Kelvin Hughes SharpEye X-band radar(can use for Helicopter Approach Radar). Change location of torpedo launchers. install Typhoon-G 25 mm remote gun and built 16.5x10 Helicopter Deck for UAV and Light Helicopter. The navy have 4 Bell 407GTs and plan to order 4-8 units in the future.

Yarinda Class become to the 2 first vessels of the Offshore Patrol Vessels Squadron, and the guard ship for the king palace 2 months per year per ship. until 2024 when 8 new OPVs in commission she will come to the trainer ship.

It looks overall nice, but I have a feeling that such extent of modernization could cost more (both in terms of money and effort) then such 40-year-old hull is worth.

Regardless, this is one of the nicest most well thought out designs I've come across. She's a looker too!

Ayutthaya Lavapura Class AAW Frigate. Change gun fire control from Mk 92 to AN/SPQ-9(because Mk 92 can't use with 5''/54 Mark 45 gun )



Ayutthaya Daganda Class ASW Corvette. Replace Sadral launcher with Thales DA05 surveillance and targeting radar. Install Tetral launcher on the hangar roof(2004).Tetral total weight 600 kg including 4 missiles




Ayutthaya Rinrada Class OPV. Edit the net colour on the RHIB bay and some problems. In 2013 the navy selected Naval Strike Missile for 10 new ships(4 ASW Frigates, 2 AAW Frigates and 4 OPVs Batch II), and 8 launchers on vehicles for the Coastal Missile Division (i will try to drawing FD scale vehicles again )
