That's excellent. I've always thought of creating plan views for my stuff but never can convince myself to go the extra mile. The result is always very pleasing so I might have to give it a try at some point!

From March 1941 on, "Tirpitz" conducted sea trials and training exercises in the Baltic.
There she joined the German "Baltic Fleet" consisting of the heavy cruiser "Admiral Scheer", the light cruisers "Emden", "Leipzig", "Köln" and "Nürnberg", together with various smaller Kriegsmarine units.
"Tirpitz's" trials lastet until January 1942.

In the meantime she received the rest of her previously missing equipment (i.e. 2x covered SL-8 AA-rangefinders aft and her main rangefinders).
The foretop rangefinder received a FuMO 23 radar set in May/June '41 - just like her sister "Bismarck" had during her short career.
In July '41 her radar equipment was upgraded further by the addition of a FuMO 27 on top of said rangefinder.
Two torpedo sets and a complement of Arado 196 A-3`s were also added.

Thanks for looking!
