I believe it's for better visibilty, in the Arctic, where the colors range between white to grey only.

The "funnels" are quite narrow: the crane run between them
Moreover their position is really too much aft side.
Probably isn't a classic funnel but it coulb be anyhow something related to the turbines and the steam generators.
There are few pictures but this detail wasn't clear also for me.

Sevmorput can carry up to 74 Lash barges (300 ton. each) or up to 1328 standard 20 feet containers...

how does it unload the barges? I doubt the yellow crane is heavy enough to lift them overboard, and the large one can't reach overboard...... or are they 'dropped' over the stern?

the large portal crane reach the stern running inside the "funnels"

Great addition to the Bucket, Lazer! This ship is amazing and I like it a lot. She was supposed to be taken out of service and converted into a drillship a few years ago, but so far nothing has happened (picture from August 2010):
P.S. you might want to check out that poster's photostream (Pieter Inpyn), he went to Murmansk last summer and caught loads of interesting Russian ships on camera. Could be helpful to you or Gollevainen.
