I've made a try with the SC, feel free to check if it is up to your standards or represented correclty. and obviously, to replace it with a more ccurate one if it does not pass the check (overall dimensions should be correct, as they were on the old unit as well).

The last version would likely have SX and SR-2 radars. Certainly it's too early for SPS-8, and in real life, SPS-6 was not even evaluated on a test basis until 1948. If you choose to use SPS-6, there is a better one on the US radar parts sheet. SX and SR-2 are also represented, I think.

"My evaluation" is kind of a strong way to put it, I think you've done the majority of the work here.

I feel a bit like Colombamike but here are my comments on the 1945 version - a lot of this can be applied to the rest of the drawings as well.

Damn, the bucket has come a long way. Worrying about towing lights, for God's sake!!!

Quick answer on a few issues:

-what is this (on the air defense level): a boxy object can be faintly seen on some of the offical models and on linedrawings, the 1940-1941 plan also shows it. Yet, I admit I have no idea what it's exact purpose is.
-what is this (on the back of the FCT): it is a small platform that can be faintly seen n some of the offical models, some linedrawings shows it. At least in the earlier version it was there.
-what is this (front of the FCT, were the Mk.57 director is): It is just a tub I've wrongly traced misidentifying some features from a Montana model , it's been corrected as we speak.
-Gun tub at the bow not wide enough: apparently, the bow is large enough at the stem to house a 40mm gun tub. If I've misunderstood and the issue is simply that how i've drawn it makes it look too narrow I'll try to fix the it.
-Anchors placement: no errors, they were supposed to be so near to the stem.

and Colo, no reason to feel like Colombamike, I'me the one who asked for it!

Looks pretty good to my admittedly uneducated eye, BB.

The box aft of the fire control tower is likely a signal platform for semaphore. I would prefer to show it as a platform surrounded by railing rather than a boxed-in walkway. I have no idea what the box at the air defense level would be - really, have been wracking my brain trying to come up with something and can't. I'd leave it there but make sure to square off the corners. That weird rounded edge just doesn't look right to me anymore.

I believe you re: the bow 40mm tub. One thing to check though might be the "height" of the guns in the tubs. One thing I caught myself doing was drawing a tub, and then placing a truncated copy of the gun on top of the tub - which really isn't the correct methodology. Now I place the entire gun mount on the tub and erase the part that should be hidden. If you are doing it correctly, you usually get a uniform appearance and have the knowledge that your guns are mounted correctly. I would be tempted to use the bow 40mm mounts on the South Dakotas and Alaskas as a guide for the one on this ship - I think it needs to extend wider fore and aft (vs. P&S).

Interesting about the anchor, and glad to see you've obviously researched this ship enough to shoot down my quick corrections.
