Does anyone else here do Airsoft?

I've been doing it on and off since 2002, and i'm getting back into it again. i've got an StG 44 this time and sold my M4 (big regret), I'm gathering together a Heer (Army) look, not to reenactor standard but enough to pull it off (I hope).

I have a King Arms P90 Tactical AEG. Love it to death.

I played for several years when I was in school... embarrassed to say I had several "loadouts", ranging from Rhodesian security forces to Iwo Jima marine... all executed rather well. The photos are, of course, long since deleted - but it was a fun distraction at the time. I had (and still have) most of the equipment, so in my case it was a JG G3A3 with a few internal upgrades and an AGM Sten gun with some extra magazines. The WW2 USMC kit included the CYMA Thompson which was great.

I considered getting back into it this past winter (when the weather in Texas allows outdoor activity), but never got past the planning phase...

Karle94 what loadout do you have? SG1 comes to mind, got a mate who's thinking about an SG1 loadout.

Colosseum sounds like some good loadouts, what made you do Rhodesian? Iwo Jima Marine with the Thompson sounds cool.

I've got an MTP loadout with assault vest just need an M4 to go with it again. Also got my old DPM uniform i could use, if i can still fit into it :).

the closest I come to airsoft is,,, fart competition! airsoft.... more death by air!

here in Norway in the army, you get a gun, some bullet and a target... that's it. combat training comes later on.

but around 3 years ago i was in an laser game, crushing everyone... I cheated a bit, I climbed one of the walls and pretended to be an sniper!

I enjoyed my rifle training in Phase 1, used iron sights though, didn't get to use SUSAT until I got to regiment. Much easier to hit the target with that. Biggest gun i've fired is 120mm, next biggest is 30mm.

heuhen have you ever been cupcaked? :) hahahaha I've done Laser Quest once, an Paint Ball twice, I find Airsoft to be much better.

Just the gun, and 3000 bullets. I used one bottle (1000 .45 gram BBs) in one summer. Had some beer cans that I shot at at over 40 ft, ripped them open. In one case a bullet flew staight through the can, one small hole in front, one twice as large at the back. Because its electric I can fire fully automatic, very nice whoosh sound. I do think I need a new battery though.

It might be because you're using .45s instead of .20bbs, do you use a smart charger?

No. Just a regular plug and play charger. It is two years old by now.
