In 1989 Burma bought 3 Romeo class submarines from China (second hand). Ayutthaya only have 2 Knox Class frigates and the very old ASW corvettes ship. The navy plan the urgent projects for protection this submarines by

1 Buy 2 modern ASW corvettes have helicopter flight deck for use with SH-2F Seasprite ASW helicopters.

2 Upgrade the old corvettes with the new weapons.

3 build the small craft by local shipyard with the Anti-submarine weapons. So the modern fast attack craft project was born again in the other mission by reduce some specification and install ASW weapons.

In 2008 malaysia have 2 Scorpène class submarines (have SM.39 Exocet anti-ship missiles an AIP(Air-independent power)). Burma plan to buy Type 039G submarine Song class from China in 2015. The Song class can fire YJ-8 anti-ship missile and CY-1 ASW Missile under water
Ayutthaya Araya Class upgrade again for protect themselves from the new danger.

-install 1xKoden MDC-2220 x-band navigation radar 25 kW
-replace Mk46 torpedo with Mk54 Lightweight Hybrid Torpedo (2016)

Ayutthaya P35 Class : Inshore Patrol Vessel

Jusmin Shipyard (Ayutthaya) built 4 patrol boats in 2011 by the first order. P35 Class have the open room on the second floor that fit for 10 navy seals with military equipment or 15 peoples. The navy have plan to built 12-18 boats to replace the old vessels

odysseus1980 , Ayutthaya develop the coastal submarine (150-250tons) look like North Korean submarine. and buy 500 tons submarines from Germany. but my ship still look not good may be i'll use Type 206A. the new submarine project will start in 2020 after 4 ASW Frigates and 2 small AAW Frigates. but the ship will commission between 2025-2026.

If you have submarines of your design you can post them, I am sure that they will be good like rest of of ships in this AU.
