First off:
Thanks for the excellent colour profile of this interesting camo scheme "worn" by "Tirpitz".
I don`t know if I should draw her like that, though, as she wasn`t even finished / commissioned at the time.
Well, as I already said, this is a WIP drawing an I am currently working on some corrections (especially regarding the camo). I used (among others) the colour profiles of the already mentioned sites (bismarck-class.dk - kbismarck.com) as reference.

There has been so much debate over her "final look/cououring" in the last decades, that I do not claim my drawing to be correct (!) - hence I wrote "how she probably looked"...
Regarding the 20mm Army mounts: They can be seen on pictures taken on the 5 May 1941 and line drawings made by Hans Gally also show them from April/ May '41 on. I don`t know if she retained them during her last voyage, but removeing them wouldn`t have made much sense - at least in my opinion...
However, I will try to do some further research regarding those guns.

In my view, for this period of the ship a double drawing is the optimal solution.

It would be really interesting to see Tirpitz in that camouflage. Admiral Hipper had a similar one during her final days, but not that quite elaborate.

It is a very interesting paintjob, indeed. I might give it a try!

I have made some corrections to my previous drawings (rudder, bow, anchors, camo...).
Again, I do not claim that my depiction of the camo-schemes is 100% accurate, but I hope that I have come a little closer to her real appearance.
