Before I begin I have a question:
On July 21 1914, the USS Mississippi (BB-23) was decommissioned and transferred to the Greek Navy who renamed her Kilkis. Navarchos has already drawn Kilkis. What do I have to do before I am permitted to draw USS Mississippi?
Do I need his permission?

I'm not sure I've seen Navarchos Kilkis, but I believe you it's there. Navarchos is one of our most accomplished artists, which likely means that he's nailed the ship pretty accurately - in her Hellenic configuration.
Now, I'm not entirely sure what differed from the US version from 1911 to 1914 and the Greek one; I know that the class began their lives with one single military mast.
Maybe you can correspond with him and see if you may convert the Kilkis to the Mississippi both as of 1908/09 and till 1914?

I think I've answered my own question. I'm first drawing her as commissioned in 1908; so I predate his version.
Here is his version:

Here is the rough-in of USS Mississippi (BB_23) ca. 1908when commissioned:

Oh deary...you've added one deck too many onto your forward bridge section! I think you ought to delete the second level and then work on detailing the remaining bridge levels. You have depicted the anchor hawse trunk correctly with the protective plate beneath.
I do notice that Navarchos' is differing in many substantial details, as observed by looking at elevations or photos.

Oops . . . guess it's back to the drawing board--pun intended.
