Well for one you could try drawing USS Lyndon B. Johnson with an updated parts sheet or something.

I don't think anyone has retouched the Zumwalt.

The point of an AU is to draw ships. If it's 2058 or whatever, a good ship to draw would be USS Lyndon B. Johnson. It won't be that old, only about 45 years or so, and it's fairly unique among the Zumwalts: It has a steel deckhouse instead of a composite. It also looks futuristic, and isn't even in service yet, so more points. You could draw a mid-2040s refit with laser or railgun CIWS, too. That would be plausible. More importantly, I'm fairly sure the current Zumwalt on the site is pretty old, so you could start fresh with new detail.

That should really be the first thing you hammer out (what will I draw?) when starting an "AU".

Look at what we have changed in the last 45 years and go left field.
I doubt that much of what we have now will be relevant in any way.
We should be onto 4th or 5th gen UAV (air and sea) and other robots by then and as for the Black Hand.
One word Germany. EU is not going to stand for a member state being threatened and the UAVs will be all over that no fly zone.
Germany will be stable and its corporations will own most of everything up to the russian border, where ever that will be by then.
The current gas loss threat should kick Germany further into developing energy sources free of unstable regimes.
Most of what you are discussing will be air/land based.
The only ships involved would possibly be a combined Med blockade fleet eg as in Persian Gulf.
If anything like this did happen by then it may well be a play by Russia to undermine the EU Balkan strangle hold
in the same way the original Black Hand was a Russian ploy to destabilise Austria-Hungary.
So possibly a domino effect post a Rus annexation of Ukraine.
I think ships will be a distant player in what would be a hacking war first and robots second.

Well, the Gaza Strip is still a hotspot for some major shenanigans, but Cuba kind of got screwed over with the embargo.
