It's my first drawing of a ship. Following Shipbucket's instructions I've learned a lot, but I've also recognised some problems. Most of the photos taken of Albion and Bulwark aren't from starboard side! The few from this side have a low solution/quality. It gave me some "blind" spots at the superstructure. Therefore I don't feel, that my drawing is finished.
Perhaps there are other things to correct. I would be much abliged for constructive comments and advise :-)

Well the colors looks bit funky. Usually if the ship is supposed to be in uniformal same color, we do it so that the hull itself is bit darker shade than the upper works (superstructures eg.)
Also, never use black as to color something. If something is supposed to be "black", use dark (really dark) shade of grey instead.
Leave the black color to do the outlining. This also includes the bridge windows and portholes.
Use the standard railing. It should be found in the equipment sheets.

Try to implent these changes and then we see what to do next :) Overally this isen't bad start at all if this is indeed your first drawing of this style.

Thanks a lot. Concerning the colours, I've copied them from Bulwark, but it's not a problem to correct. About the black colour, do you mean the I-mast should be dark grey too? (And the black fields on the LCVP mk5?)

Yes, a very sound beginning; and Gollevainen is the man for advice. Regarding the starboard side, you might do as well to Google 'HMS Albion Pictures', which brings up a lot of photo's, and amongst them are some of the starboard side:

I've made some of the recommended corrections, but the rails from the equipment sheet are not good enough. They don't fit compared to how HMS Bulwark looks! I've change the black in the hulls openings, but not (yet) at the masts and LCVP's.

The railings are not about looks, but for standardisation. The 2 pixel=1 feet scale really doesen't allow any sort of realistic presentation of thin lines and similar stuff, hence we have chosen completely different idea.

Ok :-)
I will correct the black to darkest grey, at the mast's, LCVP's and waterline marks, and use the standard rails. And thank you to Portsmouth Bill! I've found some recent photos from december 2010 in high quality. Now I think it's possible to make Bulwark done ;-)

A good view in HR for the starboard side, for a rainfall of lacking details...
