I'll be working on the shading and final details and rigging after I get her more finalized.

Karle what do you suggest I do with the bridge/conning tower--besides blow it to kingdom come?

any reason why the outher propeller axis are so far forward? they look off to me, but I am not certain, as I don't know much about the ships time and type.

I haven't even gone there yet. My main focus to this point has been with the super structure. I believe I'm beginning to understand casement guns better.

It is like that on the Lexington class. Don`t need that much dispersion here, though. You could look at my Massachusetts and Michigan class for tower refits.

Massachusetts class with Nevada bridge: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/939 ... ts1941.png
Michigan with Pennsylvania bridge: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/939 ... an1927.png

Also, the Michigan class has twin 18 inch guns.

Nice ships. I've redrawn the ship with two larger stacks. When I've worked a few other things out I'll post.

Well here she is with a bit more detail and the splinter shields removed.

An impressive design and one that looks plausible for an 4x2 18in armed battleship.

Thanks for the encouragement. There's yet a lot of work to do with the chalks and cleats, rigging and such. Dorsal and bow/stern views are in the works also plus the 1941 refit and the post Pearle Harbor modernization.
