Archer-class coastal corvettes (fast attack crafts in international standards) are a class of large, superfast, stealth missile craft in service with the Cabindan Navy. The boats were formerly classed as missile attack crafts but, from 2009, the Cabindan Navy has described them as coastal corvettes because their seaworthiness is seen as comparable to corvettes. They were built by Germany from 2005-2009, according to the indigenous design of the Cabindan Navy. It is characterised by its speed, reduced signatures, small size with heavy weapon load and its littoral combat capability. The Archer-class has an air-cushioned monohull (surface effect) which, with waterjet propulsion, provides high speed and manoeuvrability.
