Truly amazing.

(Altough I have to admit, for a split second I thought it was the other Iowa class  )
There is no way that I going to touch that hornet nest.
Does it need to be redone? Is that what you guys are getting at? ;)
Never said, and either never tought about implying that, believe me.
At the same time, a Vietnam-War New Jersey or a 1980s Iowa (or either Wisconsin or Missouri) might be free to be drawn, That was what i thought and meant in my post, sorry for not being clear.. (Paul 2011 did a 1980s Iowa. Yet, being New Jersey, she looked visibly different from her sisters because of her Vietnam-War service).

If you guys want to redo it... go ahead... if it's actually better work than what I had done, I wouldn't be offended. ;) :P

I like the two paint schemes. I remember a quote in Walter Lord's "The Good Years" about the famous cruise around the world where when the fleet returned the ships were repainted "in a stern, businesslike grey."

Excellent work DP!
Nice to see a different Iowa for a change. At least no-one is going to kitbash this drawing with 200+VLS missiles and AEGIS and Polaris! :D
