the main search radar is really an complete solid antenna? without any girders or so?

for the director, that looks great, I just wanted it separate from railings etc as part for use on other drawings in the future ;)

Sure looks smooth to me, at least on the obverse side.

Great drawing, the rendition of pilot house and fore deck curves superbly done. One minor nitpick concerns the scuttles, as the need to have black outline, and not gray (and I'm not sure about the color of windows and scuttles), these for the scuttles on main deck house below the mast. Also check the Sea-King's markings- they appear to belong to Pakistan (or Nigeria, if the green color is indicative).

Splendid work...brings back some nice memories of working with the Candians. Always where they were supposed to be and very professional. My only questions is tne color, which I remember as being a bit greener that this. Of course, that was 40 years ago *sigh*

Thanks guys.

I seem to remember a hint of green as well. Perhaps this is closer to the correct colour?

I have been wondering if the shading underneath the helo pad isn't a bit dark.

Actually, erik-t, I was wondering if the shading was dark enough. :)

yes, it looks like that in real life, but right now it looks like it is painted dark blue in that area. for that reason why have the overhang shading in sb instead of darkening the entire section.
a bit of darkening is not bad, but don't overdo it ;)

I'm sorry acelanceloet, but I have to disagree.

If it looks like that in real life, why do it any different in the drawing? After all, isn't the whole idea to capture the essence of the ship?
