I've made a few changes and actually given the ship a name in addition to the suggestions above. When the Majhost account I signed up for is activated I will post an up to date image. Once I get the "stamp of approval" on this ship I intend to apply those lessons learned to the other ships I'm working on as "Personal Designs".
But, for now I'll provide some back ground info on the design. I don't have the time to devote to a full AU so the basic back ground my designs are centred on is this: the Canadian Government after years of neglecting the RCN has finally seen the importance of sea based commerce to the Canadian economy and the influence a well funded and equipped Navy can have on a nations status within North America and the international community. The approved designs will be built in Canada, designed in cooperation with ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (Blohm & Voss Naval) with Thales awarded the the prime integration and sensor contract. The ships are centred around the ability to operate anywhere in the world and be able to counter all current and future threats expected during the ship's life time, with a focus on Arctic Sovereignty, ASW, Strike and Amphibious Warfare. As it stands now the fleet will consist of 3 LHDs, 3 AORs, 6 DDGs (batch 1 will be ASW, batch 2 will be AAW), 9 FFGs, 6 SSKs, 6 SSNs, 12 OPVs and 6 Arctic patrol ships (Not the actual planned AOPS).
Additionally I have an idea for a mine warfare task group consisting of MHCs, some sort of coastal support ship and a class of LCS to escort and defend the other two. These last few ships are very early WIPs, the concepts for which I'm still working out.
