All that is really needed is to recast the armament and aircraft to reflect what was current and applicable circa 1943; and not, as we now have (with the guns) circa 1953, by which time this project was dead and buried. That apart I reckon Alvama has done a pretty good job of showing what was possible at the time of conception.

Excellent, nothing more to be changed about it. After all it is a drawing of nothing more than a poorly-executed idea of someone playing with ice and wood-pulp, no official design was ever made.

I'm sorry Alex, but totally stupid and useless to put ASW racks on a ship of this size (600 meters) which sails at 6 knots.
Her draft/draught is so large (50+ meters...) that even its passage/sail could sink a submarine at a middle depth (up to 50 meters...), simply by collision....
After all, his main weapon (and its "raison d'être" is the 200 planes on board ...) + very likely a strong escort (some frigates/destroyers).
Even a drunken German U-Boat commander might hit "this thing" from 5 miles away

Did you knew this thing was easely sinkable?
Build a U-boat, equip it with MASSIVE flamehtrowers.
Sail towards it at night. Go up and flamethrow the thing KAPOET. And then crash dive and try to make it out alive?
Because when you make a hole in the pycrete, the whole thing will melt on its own very fast...

I heard that fire was the opposite of destruction of Pykrete, first because it does not catch fire under any circumstances and after the outer film of ice on the small pykrete cube had melted, the freshly exposed wood pulp kept the remainder of the block from thawing.
