First, Welcome aboard.

Its a lovely drawing, aside from the fact the template is one size too small, as the credits and scale bar are too close to the rigging.
The next size template seems a bit big, what are the rules for sizing templates correctly?
You can pull them in, but extending them is generally frowned upon. I'd try adding the "Cunard Line" on the first line, and raising the credit line up. This isn't the first time that this particular issue has happened, and it's always a pain when it does.

Aside from what's been mentioned the shading on the under water details looks a bit wonky as well. Other than that it's one hell of a first drawing!
How exactly, is it the bilge keel?
The bilge keel is one of the issues. Given how it's angled it should be lighter on the side we can see, not darker.
The propeller and shaft should be shaded light-base-dark, rather than dark-base-dark and now that Novice mentions it, the transition from shaft to hull could do with some remodelling.
Also, I've realised that the shading on the superstructure is a bit confused. You've got the funnel shaped as if the light is coming from the front, ie it's lighter on the front edge, whereas the superstructure is shaded as if it's coming from the rear. Which way you choose to shade it is up to you, there's AFAIK no official direction, so long as it's consistent.

Made some edits
*Reworked the shading (I left the shading under the lifeboats, unless I'm told by an admin this is unacceptable as I saw this done on another drawing)
*Reworked the propeller and shaft, I found source images that seem to contradict the reference drawing)
*Changed template sizes (I tried TimothyC's suggestion but it just didn't look right)

that the other ship you are referring to using this kind of shading doesn't mean it's correct.

The shading is to much.

the hull shading say the light is coming from the side and a little above. the funnel shading says the light is coming from an angle. while the shading on the superstructure says the shading is coming from the front. so that means that you'r light is coming from three different direction. do Earth have three suns?

her is an example of what, can be done, this is within the limit of shading rule of Shipbucket:

Hmm I just assumed that since the ship is in the database itself (not just the forum) that it was ok.
*tweak the shading a bit more, but not exactly sure how to make the hull shading look right.

This is very good work. Even more impressive that its your first attempt. Nice to see someone starting off with real designs instead of... you know.

Welcome aboard. Impressive first drawing :D My only nit pick is it seems that the shading aft of the superstructure is lacking in one section ;)

Welcome aboard! This is a very impressive first drawing. I hope there are plenty more Cunarders to come!

Here is the Media of 1946, a classic Cunarder. I believe the propeller shaft in this ship will look similar in the Saxonia as well.
