Ok here goes. Starting work on the small pieces I need for the Scheme 16 North Carolina and something interesting I found on another site.

Just need to know if they have been done. Don't want to get bashed over the head again.

since there are no one saying anything to you. Just start. we have had up to five people saying they want to it. but no one have done here.

my recommendation about person to talk with when it comes to this era of ship, is "Colosseum", he might have a little more knowledge around this US era.

I have a WIP of BB-55 as built lying around somewhere, but IIRC the "Scheme 16" is a different design altogether. I would say go ahead and start drawing it - no need to wait for approval.

Thanks Colosseum. Really trying to decide on turret type. I know the 16 has the same barbettes size as the quads will because that was a design requirement in case the escalator clause was , and did, kicked in. I am probably long term going to do all the North Carolina designs that I can find images for. Found it odd no one has done her final design form at all. And it was always my favorite of the never weres

Yep... I had started on it after I finished my ridiculously long project of redrawing the Alaska class cruisers, but lost interest/got busy with work. Some day I plan to finish them but who knows when that will be.

Yes I saw your topic post. One of the reasons I was surprised not to have seen them done.
