I think it's just the underwater hull having two different shades of red:

Anyway, that's truly an AWESOME work Charybdis.

I am not entirely content with the hull shading (or is it just paint? if it is paint I have said nothing) , and those bow thrusters are an disgrace to the otherwise excellent drawing. weren't all the bow thrusters covered with hatches too? there might be some improvement possible on the azipods too http://malcolmoliver.files.wordpress.co ... 2pods4.jpg

otherwise, excellent work!

I don't claim to be the best artist on these boards, but I don't think that anything in that drawing warrants the word disgrace. :? I got the bow thrusters from the official merchant ships parts sheet... thats part of what SB is all about isn't it? I thought we had all agreed on being a bit more diplomatic around here.

What I think Ace might have meant (as I barge in as a native English speaker :P ) is that the rest of the drawing is of such high quality that some of the generic parts really let it down. If they were on a less excellent drawing, it would be no big deal.

That's fantastic, thanks a lot. Maybe you can add them to the parts sheet.
