I'll share the rest of it in the near future. It's a moderately well known ship...as launched.

Take a good look at what Craig has posted and use that as a guide for how to shape the bow of this ship as it's still not correct.

Played around with it... the figurehead and headrail section should probably be even larger than what I've drawn but that's for you to do.

Maybe this will help a bit.
I've recolored lines for emphasis, removed shadowing, etc. to focus on structures.

You're almost there. I think what's needed is a bit of fairing/tapering toward the bow of the lines to make smooth and graceful "lines". Back in the day, they had a strong artistic bent on ships. They were functional art.

I also seem to recall that either in the Forum or maybe in the finished/submitted drawings there is an HMS Victory. Try a search for that one. It may help a bit.

Off to work.

Hmmm... a few issues: your bow is too short (or stumpy), look at the Admiralty model of the Royal George (Establishment of 1745). The rails should also be more swept. The stern galleries ought to be stepped for each deck level (easy fix!) and check the freeboard of the lower gun-deck! If you're drawing a ship according to the British system (Establishments), then your lower gun-deck freeboard should be about 5' 5" - 5' 10" approx. Also remember the stepping of the top gunwales! I know this is merely a sketch thus far, but remember to check your references.
Otherwise it's a promising start! Good Luck completing it!
