Good to see North Point armed with the finest bolt-action military rifle ever

Is "Margaritaville" the anthem of the civil air organization? j/k

Aw, they're so cute! Now, make a legion! ;)
I know the ranks of Centurion, Optio, Signifer and Buccinator, but haven't heard of the Tesseraius or Decanus before. I pressume they were somewhat equall in rank to current-day sergeants and corporals?

Tesseraius is below optio, so is about Sergeant Major? Decanus is in charge of 8 men so is corporals.

Well, I was bored to dead during my stay with my inlaw and parents and I was reading the Eagle Series, by Simon Scarrow.
I also made this one:

Awesome work!
Btw. Tesserarius.
The name Decanus - if anyone's interested - comes from Latin decem - 10 (though unit's strength was 8, but could contain additional 2 servants).
Actually that's where also the name "december" comes, as this was originally 10th month of roman calendar (due to certain peculiarities of the original form of that calendar that don't need to be discussed here).

Question, that 2 servants. are they slaves? or freeman? or citizen contractors?

It seems that they were rather slaves.
Generally idea was that this 8 soldiers were living together in single contubernium (tent, or barrack in permament location, so that these group was often referred to as contubernales), and these two servants, called calones (plur.) were responsible for such duties like taking care of squads pack mule, water supply, possibly also some technical works.
