If I may be so impertinent to suggest that
Sir (George) Hubert Wilkins MC & Bar
be used for the name of the second Macquarie class instead of B&W
He is one of the great unsung heroes of Australian and polar exploration.

I have upgraded IFAS Castlemaine by replacing the AN/SPG-62 directors with CEA-MOUNT Trainable Arrays. There have also been some minor modifications to the superstructure - mainly around the directors.

I think that for where they are and what they're liable to be doing two illuminators is probably fine. One thing though, whilst I know ESSM has tailfins and not just strakes by no stretch of the imagination are the fins as large as that! Also more than likely the nose cone would be / is a pale hemp or off white colour not red. Other than that minor niggle I look forward to seeing more from you!

No idea what those are actually, but they don't match the ESSM in the USN parts sheets. I should know, I drew that one. Those tail fins really are much too big for ESSM.
Edit: I have to say though, the Brisbane class is one of the more believably looking AltUniverse ships I've seen. In fact all of these designs are pretty realistic looking.

It looks like a mix between Aster and ESSM
