This is yet another hull I have had sitting in my shipyard for some time. Her primary role is for aviation support and training but can be used for air support of amphibious forces and disaster relief. Full specifications to follow soon.

the positions of that mast and crane might be bad for helicopter operations. the only real landing spot you have right now is between the crane and the structure, but with the elevator aft I would like to have it opposite, with the crane near the structure and the landing spot all aft of it.
also, why is the crane sponsoned?
the hull would benefit from an bilge keel and I think one bigger thruster is better then 2 small ones.
other then that, interesting design and great drawing ;)

A very nice looking ship! Good work, like all of your designs.

This is the American in me talking, but I'd like to see that forward weapons mount sporting a Phalanx or RAM. Maybe extend the liferaft cutouts to put one of those gun systems (typhoon?) port and starboard but I know that has superstructure support implications.

Or you could extend that forward weapons mount back to the main superstructure and build a superfiring CIWIS mount firing over currnet weapon.

CIWS would probably be useful for when supporting Amphib ops

Attractive, although I must echo the crane concerns above. Shamelessly copying a quasi-modern 'phib's crane situation would seem to be a reasonable approach.

Shades of both RFA Argus and Jeanne d'Arc.

Was she purpose built or a conversion?
