I only have doubts about the cutouts in the structure for the lifeboats. it can be done, but takes additional strenthening on the points where the superstructure reaches the hull, which might result in problems in the arrangement underneath it. as you seem to have only personnel decks underneath, I do not think it will be that much of an problem though.

Can't see that being any sort of problem at all, if you look at most current designs they all have the same or similar design for the life boat positions. AEGIR for a prime example.

@ LUET_est. I would be great full if you would let me use some aspects of your drawing and make it look a bit British for a small AU I'm trying to work out. One again I commend an excellent drawing.

actually, the Aegir has the fore and aft bulkheads running the full width of the hull. the bay class has it like this, but only at one side, and that ship has strengtening to make this possible. the aegir as example, has large brackets on these positions.

As usual another excellent design. You might have to continue to tolerate me stealing your stuff for AU usage as what you keep designing seems to be right on the mark for what I'm looking for!

Just plain attractive. It makes me want to turn it into a yacht.

Are we certain SPS-49 can rotate where it's currently placed? Moving the topmast back a few pixels would seem to solve the problem at near-zero weight cost.

Great drawing! i just have 2 comments:
- Why no CIWS? you could just plug a Phalanx on the superstructure (might fit / fit for a 2nd on the bow)
- Its a new build ship, why would you use a old radar?

The Phalanx would be fitted when the vessel is operationally tasked. Also I used AN/SPS-49 because I like this radar (I maintained them when I served on HMAS Sydney) and that the RAN has a ready supply of them.
