I just got a new computer that uses Windows XP regular (the old one used classic), and now on paint the text is all funky. There aren't nearly as many fonts, and the text is all pixel-trashy rather than solid. Since I transferred all my files I can't modify attribution textblocks without re-doing it all, and it's harder to make number on ships. Anyone have a solution to this problem?

EDIT: An example. Keep in mind these are both in PNG. Both are 12-point Arial at 4x magnification.

You have to turn off clear type or get a program that'll let you turn off anti aliasing.
Paint.Net is a personal favourite.

Or: Make a Gif. file drawing, save it. Open it in another window of paint, type it there and then copypaste it to the actuall shipdrawing PNG./BMP. file you are using.
