I don't think there's any data about their "planned" (if there were any actual plans) look, so effectively it would be AU.

Awesome job! Why didn't the Polish air force buy the P.24 even though it was an improved P.11?

Thank you. As Eswube said that was only a loose idea, something that was talk about in saloons but never go from there to real plans. Hungary want to buy P.24D with different armament. Yugoslavia some model of P.24 with Lorraine Dietrich engine. Spain, first Republican want to buy P.11 or P.24, then again in some time P.24 and at last Franconists would exchange captured Soviet equipment for small number of P.24. Only ideas.

It's rather a complicated and heavy political reason. Germans before the war believe that Polish Air Force posses rather large numbers of P.24 fighters. It was rather a surprise for them when they found not even one P.24 in Polish fighter squadrons. As Third Reich was almost an ally of Poland for many years after Adolf Hitler start to rule Germany. With pretty close relations both nations exchange many information, couple of times Germans were invited to see the newest Polish designs. Also Germans invite Poles to they own factory's, they even propose first version of Me 109 production rights. For them of course it was clear that you leave for yourself the best equipment and sell the older one. Polish government do exactly the opposite.

There is no good explanation for this Trojan, we can get the most probably. The absolutely, heavy and real stupidity.

One of the main reasons why Polish Military Aviation was not using P.24 was the decision to standarize high-performance radial engines on license-produced Bristol Mercury/Pegasus series, while P.24 was powered by Gnome-Rhône 14 and authorities were reluctant to drop that standarization, considering limited funding and amount of effort put into starting production of Bristol engines (esp. in light of problems with deliveries of GR 14 engines - P.24 were often shipped to buyers without engines that were delivered only with significant delays).
Another reason were high expectations about PZL-38 Wilk twin-engine fighter (one of the 1930s fad about "destroyer" "do it all" aircraft) - military hoped that there will be simply no point in spending scarce funds on moderately better P.24 when brand new and offering (theoretically) radically better capabilities PZL-38 seemed to be around the corner. Unfortunately problems with engine development caused Wilk to be a flop (though the development line was continued with interesting prospects) and military woke up with few B-plans, except for PZL-50 Jastrząb that suddenly become top priority few months before war. As a stop-gap it was decided to procure P.11 Kobuz (which was semi-P.24 of sorts), though there were some plans to quickly produce a short series of P.24's but nothing came of it.

I'm lost. What was the most modern fighter Poland had, to counter Me-109 and Ju-87 ?

Fighters in use by Polish Military Aviation at the beginning of war were: PZL P.7 (30 in squadrons and 75 in reserve), PZL P.11a (20 in squadrons) PZL P.11c (110 in squadrons - additionaly 43 P.11a/c were in reserve).
Everything else were mere prototypes - PZL P.11g Kobuz, PZL-38 Wilk, PZL-50 Jastrząb - or projects.

In some crazy ways even we had not stop sending P.24 to other nations mere months before the war.

Nice to see hellenic PZL.24.As I said, I would not use the PZL.24 in my scenario,but I will definetely use camo.
