I remember that on the old forum, there was a project to update Littoral Combat Ship. Since that person left the SB forever, I take the chance to draw (one of) my favourite ship:

I have to say that's one of the best renditions of a trimaran hull to hit SB so far.
I do have two comments though.
First, while it looks good, three pixels is too wide for a 57mm gun.
Second, I'd go for a dark grey on the middle line on the mast.

The drawing has been updated with your suggestions. ;)

Great drawing DP! only wonder if the square plate behind the 57mm could fit a VLS or something.

Isn't that plate where the NLOS-LS was going to be installed?

They are damn ugly ships.
But great artistic renditions can save even the obscure mono-block multihull vessels to beutifull levels.

I adjoing however to the 57mm barrel needind to be one pixel width, not two, expecially not one black and one dark brown...*shivers*

Very good drawing!

Do you plan to draw the ship with the different mission modules? I still have some difficulties to understand the concept of LCS and drawing could definitively be a help ;)
How many "modules" will there be? Are those modules fully compatible with both Lockheed and General Dynamics designs?

Nice One Daddypanda :) I have this image of you - burping Junior while still producing work like this - great stuff :D

And yes, ugly ship, but I prefer this version as it had Aussie input; and that is one very large hull for a glorified patrol boat
