A delightful drawing aside from the bane of my own personal existence... that accursed screw. Please improve it! That part should have been put to pasture five years ago.
I'd also experiment with shading on the sonar dome; the dark gray is a little stark in general, and there in particular.
First, that is a beautiful ship. Really good looking, well thought out design.
From the colour scheme: great. That's very close to what our future navy will look like. I'd keep the u/w hull the lighter shade, as I doubt we will go to the lengths to repaint that as well as the rest of the ship. But as far as realism/future RAN. Nailed it.
The fwd gun: I'd change that to a mk45. Seeing as the Anzac flotilla and the new Hobart class ships are sporting it, I'd doubt that DMO nd DoD would procure a new fwd gun. Given that we have the parts and technical training already on the mk45 model. That's just my opinion anyway.
EDIT: not that it's too important. But why Wollongong for the name? Wollongong is always used for patrol boats?
