These are nice Sailor82. I tend to agree on the color of the lower hull, as I believe it to be more bluish

Great work. As to the colours I wouldn't like to say who's right and who's wrong on that one. Not only have we all got different monitors but eyesight is about as individual as finger prints, no two human beings on the planet see exactly the same colours anyway. :geek:

We should have on the forum an Color pallet with the main colors, yellow, blue, green... so we with different monitors can adjust our color to it. That might help with some of the problems. (Just thinking loud)

Hi Heuhen,

Getting the colur balance dialled in can be a long, time-consuming process (speaking as someone who has watched the designers at work do it), however. Given that there are already basic colours specified in RGB values on the beginners forums is this necessary?

Also, just to add to the fun, el-cheapo monitors like mine don't even necessarily display the same colour the same way from one corner to another! (My day job consists of far, far too long sat in front of SQL or HP-UX prompts, neither of which has a requirement for accurate colour balance)
