One of her 155 mm AGS and the Dual Band Radar (SPY-3) have not been installed yet. These would be installed during fitting out, but I wonder why one of the AGS has already been installed? Maybe for testing?

I know this is a fairly supid comment, but... Every time i look at the Zumwalt class i could not help myself but think that they are a strong contendant, with the Indipendence class LCS, for the title of ugliest warship i've ever seen.
System-wise, well, that is probably a completely different matter.

I used to think that too but after a decade of reading up on it the design has grown on me. If I had to guess why the aft 15mm isn't there yet its because of work on the VLS cells, you can sort of see containment barriers in that location.

Oops :oops: , I thought that the aft 155mm was not there since it was blocked by the white tarp in the picture I posted.
Edit: the aft mount was apparently removed before launching. System fit check?
