Another excellent design. You certainly know how to draw good looking aircraft. I can see a lot of Shackleton in this, especially around the cockpit and nose area, and that's no bad thing given its sleeker looks than its forebears.

I figured this thread needed a bit of a break from aircraft, so here is the Phantom tank:

Post war Firebolt variants will be coming soon also...

Great work. Bit of "Centurion (hull, suspension) meets M26 and M47 (turret)".

Thanks Eswube :)
When I drew the original I thought it looked a bit too much like the Centurion, so I redrew it with a different turret to show its design ancestry in the Phalanx.

Great work as always, Rowdy. You're building up a pretty impressive fleet of aircraft for Recherche, and some nice tanks too. I'd love to see some of the early generation jet fighters and interceptors from Hale like the Meteor and Lightning.

Thanks Indiajuliet :) I'll probably be winding down on the number of WW2 aircraft designs soon and moving on to post-war aircraft - I've started on a fighter design for service in the late 1940's/early 1950's but so far I haven't been able to draw it to my satisfaction...
