Maybe use S1 template and fix that name/credit position.

I would correct the title bar personally. "CSA" is a bit ambiguous.

Confederate States of America, CSS Virginia (date depicted)
(WWII44)

Other Confederate ships on the bucket used CSA on their titles.

Yeah I would indeed cut of that ex. USS Merrimack. Virginia was only build on part of it's hull.

I see some problems.

1.) Its missing the ram. It broke off inside the USS Cumbarland but if this drawing is post that attack there is a lot of other damage missing.

2.) The stern is all wrong. It was designed so that most of it was submerged, and since you ahve the entirety of it actuyally above some of the superstructure there is no way that is correct. I have seen different drawings have it collored as iron, but most of them have it as solid wood.

3.) What is that wooden encloser on top of the bow? I have not seen any picures with it having that.

Here are two pics illustrating what I am saying:

Allow me to counter with this: [ img ]
Thease are similar to the plans I use in creation of the drawing(the ones I actually used were in black and white).

I used this for some referance in the coloring of the drawing
