The Echo II surface launch
This is the solution for the first class of missile carrying submarine.
Thiel is right.A different missile is needed. What about a subRb15?
To early RB15U isn't operative until 1988 (with the next class of subs.)
The launch of RB08U. Same warhead, turbo jet engine, seeker. slightly adjusted body to fit in the launch canister. Four booster instead of the normal 2 are fitted (
like a sea slug)
The body is altered and looks more similare to the US
AGM-86 ALCM
1. Silo is opened
2. Silo flooded
3. Missile canister is fired with compressed air (
similar to a polaris launch)
4, Rocket boosters egniht, canister is blown apart by explosive bolts
5. wings swing out (
main wings are folded backwards like a F-111, tail is shortened an folded down so they pop up)
6. When the missile reaches altitude the turbo jet starts up and the rocket boosters fall off.
I have more problem with a descent land attack seeker with 1970s technology
